The Dutch international has already told Galatasaray representatives that he wants to leave the club and make one last move before he retires.

Sneijder enjoyed five successful years at Galatasaray, scoring 45 goals in 173 appearances as he helped the club to two Turkish League titles, three Turkish Cups, and three Turkish Super Cups.

However, Turkish news outlet Fanatik has reported that Wesley Sneijder is "very likely" to leave Galatasaray in the summer, despite having a year left on his contract. Sneijder, who turns 33 in a couple of days, wants to make one last move in a different league before he retires. Galatasaray president Dursun Özbek does not want to risk letting Sneijder leave for free next season and is ready to cash in on the player.

Roberto Mancini is keen to bring the Dutchman to Zenit St. Petersburg in Russia and has prepared a lucrative contract offer for the midfielder.

Galatasaray will be looking for at least €5 million for Sneijder which will incur a slight loss from the €7.5 million paid for him back in 2013.

Sneijder recently equaled Edwin Van der Sar's all-time appearances for the Netherlands national team with 130 and expressed his desire to keep going at the highest level for years to come.
