Chelsea set to bid £45 million for Lorenzo Insigne to replace Hazard

With Eden Hazard yet to commit his future to Chelsea, manager Antonio Conte has already started to plan for life after the Belgian with a £45 million bid for Napoli's Insigne.

Hazard has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer and has fueled speculation even more following his recent comments as he admitted he would "consider it if Madrid made an offer." 

The Belgian also mentioned that he has "not met up with the board yet to discuss a new deal" and said, "you never know what will happen".

Hazard is reportedly stalling on a new £300,000 a week deal and is likely awaiting an offer from Los Blancos before making his decision.

According to the Sun, Antonio Conte is already planning for life after Hazard and is set to lodge a £45 million bid for Napoli winger Lorenzo Insigne. A contract with a weekly wage of £200,000, double of what Insigne currently earns, will be offered to the Italian. 

While Chelsea will want to keep Hazard, whose 16 goals and five assists led Chelsea to the Premier League title this past season, a huge offer for the 26-year-old might just prompt Conte to sell him. 

Loyalty seems to be something Conte values, as seen by his bust-up with striker Diego Costa after the forward flirted with a move to the Chinese Super League in January which saw him get ousted from the squad. Hazard's constant stalling of a new deal is likely the reason behind why Conte is looking for other options.

Insigne had a tremendous season himself, scoring 20 goals as Napoli finished third in the Serie A.
