Lyon in advanced talks to sign Chelsea striker
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has confirmed that his side are in advanced negotiations to sign Chelsea forward Bertrand Traore this summer.
The Burkina Faso international enjoyed a successful spell on loan with Ajax last term where he bagged 13 goals in 37 outings.
As a result, his interest has only heightened in recent weeks with both Everton and West Ham United monitoring his developments with the Premier League holders
According to The Express, Les Gones appear to be leading the race for Traore after Aulas revealed that the club are desperate to get a deal done for the attacker.
"We want to bring Bertrand Traore to the club. There are advanced talks there, but many clubs are interested. We absolutely want to do the deal." he said.
Traore, who made his Blues debut during the 2015/16 season, will possible leave on a temporary contract this summer with the club's hierarchy hopeful of integrating him into the squad in the future.
The striker is currently behind the likes of Michy Batshuayi and Diego Costa in the pecking order, and even the departure of the latter won't improve his chances under Conte, who is on the search for a new marksman.
