Man Utd can have Spurs midfielder for £50m
Manchester United have been told that they can secure the services of midfielder Eric Dier, should they be willing to match Tottenham's £50m valuation.
The England international has been a regular in the Spurs defence over the past year, but he is still unsettled over his position at the north London club.
Dier sees himself as a holding midfielder as he moves further in his career, and this has heightened speculation over his future beyond the summer.
According to The Telegraph, Jose Mourinho could get wish to sign Dier in the transfer window after Spurs quoted a £50m price tag for the former Sporting ace.
United are still dependent on veteran Michael Carrick to perform the midfield duties, and Mourinho is looking for a way forward by signing up a young recruit, who could cement his spot for years to come.
Mourinho has apparently stalled on the club's pursuit of Monaco anchorman Fabinho as he looks to bring in a midfielder with valuable Premier League experience.
Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has also been linked with a reunion with the Special One with the Blues seemingly on the search for a new enforcer.
