Chelsea boss Roman Abramovich is reportedly prepared to offer Eden Hazard in a player-plus-cash deal for Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portugal international is mulling over his future with the European champions after having been alleged of tax fraud, which he feels is unfair.

Ronaldo could potentially face further hearing on the issue, and he has not taken this lightly after having made an irreversible decision to leave the Bernabeu.

According to The Express, Abramovich could be willing to cough up a club-record fee plus Hazard in an attempt to lure Ronaldo to Stamford Bridge.

Hazard is a potential target for the La Liga holders, and it is suggested that the Belgium international would favour a potential move after having refused to rule out the speculation last month.

Despite this, the move looks to be beyond just money with Ronaldo likely to prefer a return to Manchester United as he is fond of the surroundings.

Ronaldo currently has four more years left on his contract, and Real will probably place a price tag in excess of £150m if they find the right suitor for his signature.

The 32-year-old has had a brilliant year and a half in the beautiful game after having celebrated Euro 2016 glory with Portugal in addition to his La Liga and Champions League triumph.
