PSG coach Unai Emery settles Neymar-Cavani feud before Bayern showdown

Emery has apparently solved what has reportedly turned into a major issue at the club before Paris Saint-Germain's vital Champions League match against Bayern Munich. 

Neymar and Cavani's feud had reportedly caused quite a separation and stir in the Paris Saint-Germain dressing room. It started from Paris Saint-Germain's 2-0 win over Lyon last week where a free kick was won but Dani Alves refused to let Edison Cavani take it, later handing the ball over to his countryman Neymar.

There was another subsequent argument between the pair regarding the penalty kick won. Cavani eventually saw his penalty saved by Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopez.

Ahead of the blockbuster clash with Bayern Munich in the Champions League, coach Unai Emery has apparently resolved the tension between the South American pair as it has started to create a divide in the dressing room.

Speaking at a pre-match news conference, Emery was quoted by ESPN saying: "Many of our players are capable [of taking penalties]. Many of them also want to."

"Edinson and Neymar are ready. There will be plenty of penalties and both will benefit from that. I have spoken with both of them. I have told them how things will work from here."

The trident of Cavani, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe will be crucial against Bayern and Emery will hope that his side replicates the showing from the 5-0 win over Celtic in the opening match.
