Jack Wilshere set to sign new Arsenal contract?

Arsenal have reportedly prepared a new contract for midfielder Jack Wilshere following his impressive start to the 2017/18 season.
The England international has struggled with injuries in recent seasons but has slowly integrated into the first-team fold after a decent loan stint at Bournemouth.
Wilshere is currently contracted at the Emirates until the summer of 2018, and according to The People, his performances against the likes of BATE Borisov and Doncaster Rovers have convinced Arsene Wenger to extend the 25-year-old's stay.
The report adds that the Three Lions midfielder could pen a new deal by the end of the year with the Gunners keen to avoid him from entering the final six months of his contract.
Wilshere has recently been praised for his efforts by Wenger, but the playmaker has yet to make an appearance in the Premier League this term.
The Stevenage-born ace has made the matchday squad in the recent league games against West Bromwich Albion and Bournemouth, only to find himself on the bench.
