Tottenham in shock move for Jack Wilshere?
Tottenham Hotspur are shock candidates to sign Arsenal's out-of-favour midfielder Jack Wilshere when the England international's contract expires at the end of the season. Wilshere, who spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, has been edging closer to regular first-team football with the Gunners this season.
Jack Wilshere's contract situation appears to be undecided as the midfielder reportedly weighs up his options with a potential move to Arsenal's bitter rivals Tottenham next season on the cards.
With Victor Wanyama yet to have impressed at Tottenham, Spurs could make a move for Wilshere on a free transfer. Mauricio Pochettino, the Spurs coach, is a fan of the midfielder and snapping up the midfielder from their biggest rivals would be a huge coup for the club.
Wilshere played an important part of the Gunners' Europa League game against BATE Borisov and is hoping to force his way into Arsene Wenger's plans until the end of the season, however it is understood that Wilshere has no intention of signing a fresh deal at the Emirates Stadium.
