Everton, West Ham United eyeing Theo Walcott deal?
Premier League duo Everton and West Ham United could reportedly tussle it out for the services of Arsenal forward Theo Walcott.
The England international has failed to make a single league start since Arsene Wenger's decision to switch to a 3-4-2-1 formation in April.
Despite his limited action, Walcott has impressed in the Cup and Europa League games this term, scoring three goals in as many appearances.
According to The Sun, the Englishman has no shortage of offers from the top-flight with Everton and West Ham prepared to make winter bids for his signature.
Walcott has under two years left on his Gunners contract, and Arsene Wenger is keen to sell his long-standing winger for a reasonable price in the New Year.
The Toffees brought in as many as eight players to their ranks in the summer, but they are still lacking the additional firepower up front.
Meanwhile, the Hammers had prioritised a winger signing during the backend of the last transfer window, and Walcott could be the ideal recruit for January.
Walcott has notched 107 goals in 388 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions since making his move from Southampton more than a decade ago.
