Cavani wants future Man City move?

Pars Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani is reportedly holding out for a future move to Manchester City. Pep Guardiola's side have made a strong start to their top-flight campaign, and they are presently at the top of the league standings.

The Uruguay international's future has been under question at Parc des Princes ever since his on-field spat with Neymar over a penalty against Lyon last month.

Cavani eventually took the responsibility for the spot kick which he missed, but Unai Emery's side still won the game - courtesy of two own goals from Lyon.

According to Don Balon, the former Napoli star would favour a future switch to the Etihad Stadium, where he fancies his chances of scoring plenty of goals.

The report adds that moves to Real Madrid and Manchester United remain unfavourable while Everton are unlikely to convince him - following their struggles in the Premier League this term.

Despite the speculation, Guardiola is unlikely to think about any unnecessary changes with both Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus in the goals this season.

The South American pair are on seven goals each this campaign, and they are currently the joint top-scorers for City alongside Raheem Sterling.
