Edin Dzeko expects an 'angry' Chelsea side against AS Roma
AS Rome striker Edin Dzeko feels the Giallorossi will face an angry Chelsea outfit in Wednesday night's Champions League clash at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte's side are searching for their third successive win in Europe, but they head into the game on the back of a shock 2-1 league defeat to Crystal Palace.
In a reported quoted by ESPN, Dzeko is not surprised by the loss having faced similar results during his five-year spell with Premier League leaders Manchester City.
He said:"That's the English Premier League. You can win against the best teams and then lose against the last. Chelsea is a great team with some amazing players. We'll play maybe also against an angry, but top team.
"Their coach will put pressure on them, but we didn't come here to play and lose, we came here to give our best and have a positive result."
The Giallorossi currently sit second in Group C and they will be looking to get something out of the game with Atletico Madrid likely to win their outing against Azerbaijani champions Qarabag.
Chelsea have endured back-to-back defeats against both Manchester City and Palace, and Conte could opt for an aggressive approach against the Giallorossi to gain the early advantage.
