Man United, Arsenal plot move for Germany star
Premier League duo Arsenal and Manchester United could reportedly battle it out for the services of Borussia Dortmund attacker Marco Reus.
The Germany international has endured a torrid time with injuries, and this has hampered his progress in the prime years of his professional career.
Reus is presently out with a knee ligament damage sustained in early May, and this has ruled out until the start of 2018 at the least. Despite this, he is still gaining elite club interest with both Arsenal and Manchester United said to be weighing up January bids, as per The Bild.
The 28-year-old has already missed out on representing Germany at the 2014 World Cup and the Euros last summer, and a change of scenery could bring a change in his fortunes.
Reus is currently contracted to Dortmund until the summer of 2019, and the German side could consider a cut-price deal for his services in the New Year - due to his reduced impact in recent times.
