Chelsea star insists players will fight for Antonio Conte
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois insists that the players are behind manager Antonio Conte despite their indifferent run across all competitions this month.
The Blues surprisingly lost 2-1 to bottom-side Crystal Palace in the Premier League while AS Roma also grabbed a point in a 3-3 Champions League draw last week.
As a result, there has been the talk of unrest between the players and Conte, but Courtois has stressed that the team is behind the Italian as evidenced by their 4-2 comeback win over Watford.
He told the Blues' official website: "When a top team has a few bad results the first thing people try to say is that the players are not happy and we're not behind the coach."
"But against Watford, you saw we fought for every moment and we fought when we were down, so everybody can see we're behind the coach."
The Blues face Premier League strugglers Everton in the fourth round of the League Cup later tonight and the Belgian feels that every cup is important regardless of its stature.
Courtois is likely to be benched for the League Cup outing with Willy Caballero set to be handed only his second appearance in the Chelsea shirt since arriving on a Bosman last summer.
