Arsenal set transfer price for Alexis Sanchez
Arsenal will reportedly demand at least £30m, should a rival club come forward to sign Alexis Sanchez during the winter transfer window.
Manchester City had agreed on a £60m plus fee to pursue Sanchez in the summer, but the deal fell through on deadline day after the Gunners failed to find a replacement.
Sanchez has since integrated into the Gunners plans for the season, but he recently posted a sad selfie on Instagram after he left out of the club's League Cup win over Norwich City.
According to The Sun, the Citizens are plotting a fresh raid for the Chilean attacker, who will have just six months left on his contract in the New Year.
However, it is suggested that the Gunners could play hardball over negotiations as they want at least £10m more than the £20m fee, the Citizens are planning to offer.
Pep Guardiola had coached Sanchez for a single year at Barcelona between 2011 and 2012, and the Catalan tactician feels the Chilean could be the difference between the Premier League and failure - during the ongoing campaign.
