Cesc Fabregas reacts to Chelsea's win over Manchester United
Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas was pleased that the Blues raised their game during Sunday's 1-0 win over Manchester United in the Premier League.
The Blues suffered a gruelling 3-0 Champions League defeat to Roma earlier last week, but they managed to provide a strong response against United with Alvaro Morata popping up with the winner.
Following the game, the Spaniard said that the Blues played like a 'big team' throughout as they kept only their second clean sheet since October.
"Today we had a lot of the ball, we created chances, we played like a big team, we defended like a big team and we have to be proud today," he told Sky Sports News.
The victory sees Chelsea remain in fourth position in the standings, although they are now just one point adrift of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, who are in the second and third places respectively.
Antonio Conte's future had come into question prior to the United game, but the win is likely to relieve some of the pressure as the players head into the two-week international break.
