Curbs: West Ham for UEFA Cup
West Ham boss Alan Curbishley has pushed his side for UEFA Cup qualification and admitted that the opportunity is well within the Hammers' grasp. The Hammers travel to Fulham at the weekend for their crucial Premiership game.
"I don't want the season to drift. We have spoken about that," Curbishley said.
"You have to be finishing in the top seven to be in with a shout of Europe.
"We want to try and get as many points as we can and finish as high up the table as we can.
"Going into the last two games we could see the teams above us. We have got to get something at Fulham to keep seeing the teams above us.
"I gave the players four days off to recharge their batteries and we are looking forward to Saturday."
