Chelsea increasingly worried about Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois
Chelsea are increasingly concerned about the futures of Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois beyond the current campaign. The Belgian pair are said to be in contractual discussions with the club, but neither are close to extending their respective deals.
According to The Mirror, the Blues are yet to sort out an extension with the Belgium internationals, and they are bracing themselves for concrete approaches from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain during the summer.
The club are a little bit secure with Hazard, who has more than two years left on his existing deal, but they could be tempted to sanction the sale of Courtois, however, with his contract expiring at the end of next season.
Chelsea are currently four points off the Champions League positions in the Premier League, and the failure to reclaim their spot in the elite competition next term could potentially witness a summer of upheaval.
Antonio Conte's future also remains in question beyond the summer as he may have to guide the club to FA Cup success in order to keep hold of his head coach role.
