Newcastle chase McGeady

Newcastle are reportedly aiming to sign Aiden McGeady in the summer for around £12 million. The Celtic player is regarded as one of the best players in Scotland at the moment.

The Irish international has made over a hundred appearances for the Hoops since breaking into the first team in 2004 and has managed more than twenty goals in that time. He also has 17 first team caps for Ireland under his belt.

The speedy left winger has supposedly attracted the attention of several Premier League managers including that of Newcastle's Kevin Keegan.
