Harry Kane to join Bayern Munich?
Tottenham Hotspur marksman Harry Kane has been identified as one among the prime targets for Bayern Munich, who could be preparing for life after Robert Lewandowski this summer.
Lewandowski has been regularly linked with a switch to Real Madrid of late with the Poland international having recruited super-agent Pini Zahavi in order to push through a big-club move.
As a result, the Bavarian giants are said to have begun their search for a replacement, and Kane is one of the leading candidates in their shortlist for the summer.
Preferably, Bayern would fancy signing RB Leipzig's Timo Werner owing to his experience in the German top-flight, but Kane has been earmarked as an alternative, Marca claims.
Meanwhile, there is also a claim that Mauricio Pochettino could be offered the Bayern job after Jupp Heynckes' retirement in the summer, and this may entice Kane to follow the Argentine to the Allianz Arena.
Kane is currently recovering from an ankle problem which he sustained during the Premier League triumph at Bournemouth. He is not expected to return until mid-April.
