Antoine Griezmann agrees terms with Barcelona?
Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann has reportedly agreed contractual terms with Barcelona ahead of his proposed move to the club during the summer.
The France international had been tipped to join United in the last summer transfer window, but the move did not materialise after Atleti's transfer ban was upheld.
However, since January, the Spaniard have been released from their embargo, and it now appears that Griezmann is leaning towards a fresh challenge away from Madrid.
According to The Sun, the 27-year-old has already agreed on personal terms with Barcelona, and the Catalan side are set to trigger a release clause on his contract which will drop to £88m during the summer.
Griezmann had agreed to double his escape clause in order to avoid his departure last summer, but he does not seem to have a similar loyalty with Atleti this time around with Barca knocking on the door.
Any deal is likely to be sorted before the start of the 2018 World Cup, where Griezmann wants to place his entire attention on guiding Les Bleus to success. France previously won the World Cup nearly 20 years ago.
