AS Monaco star desperate to join Manchester United
AS Monaco midfielder Fabinho is reportedly prepared to force through a move to Manchester United this summer after having previously missed out on the same.
The Brazilian was heavily tipped to make a Premier League switch last summer, but AS Monaco decided against his sale after the departure of several key players including Tiemoue Bakayoko from their ranks.
According to The Sun, Fabinho is now keen on linking up with Jose Mourinho's Manchester United, and the deal could be sorted out at the end of the season.
United are due to lose Michael Carrick upon his retirement in the future, and this is expected to step up the need for a replacement, considering the positions of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera also remain under question.
As per the report, United will have to pay a sum of around £55m for the versatile midfielder, and super-agent Jorge Mendes is likely to act as the middleman in order to push through the deal between the clubs.
