Willian to Manchester United?

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a move for Chelsea's Willian with Juan Mata likely to be shown the exit door during the summer.

Mata has been a credible performer over the past four years at the club, but under Jose Mourinho, he has been in-and-out of the starting lineup.

Moreover, the Spaniard has not been able to contribute in terms of goals or assists this campaign, and the club are seemingly prepared to sanction his sale with his contract expiring in 14 months' time.

According to The Sun, Mourinho is said to want Willian to replace the former Chelsea man with the pair having had a good relationship together during their time at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho has publicly praised the Brazilian on several occasions in the past, and The Sun suggests that a fee of around £30m could be sufficient to lure the Blues into a sale.

Willian has been one of the Blues bright sparks in the second half of the season, and this has seen him witness his best scoring campaign with 13 goals across all competitions.

The Brazilian still has two more years left on his contract, and a summer exit may be dependent on the Blues' board, given he is open to extending his deal further.
