Defoe enjoying Portsmouth
Portsmouth striker Jermain Defoe has confessed he is enjoying life at Fratton Park. The player left Tottenham for Pompey in the January transfer window.
"I want to get out of the hotel. I'm bored out of my head," Defoe told The Sun.
"I come out of training and just sleep all day. I'm looking forward to moving into a house.
"But I have settled in at the club very quickly. If you look at the quality of the players, though, it's not surprising we're challenging for Europe.
"I always knew the team was quality. Obviously when you play for a different team and don't watch them week-in, week-out, it's not until you join them and actually train and play with them that you realise how good the players are."
