Harry Kane to reject Real Madrid this summer

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is expected to reject Real Madrid, should they come knocking for his services during the summer.

The England international is said to have been keen on a Los Blancos move earlier in his career, but has now grown frustrated owing to the Spanish club's reluctance to make an approach, Don Balon claims.

It is added that Kane does not want to be overshadowed by the presence of Cristiano Ronaldo at the Bernabeu, and Los Blancos may have to switch their attention elsewhere to bolster their strikeforce.

Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is said to be planning a major spending spree for the summer, and this is likely to witness the exit of several players including Karim Benzema.

Benzema has been impressive with his holdup play, which often suits Ronaldo in the attack but the Frenchman has not been as effective with his finishing skills in the frontline.
