Morata wanted back at Juventus on loan

Juventus are prepared to re-sign Alvaro Morata from Chelsea during the summer but only if they can agree on a season-long loan deal.

The Spain international made a positive start to his maiden Blues career but since Boxing Day, he has managed to find the scoresheet on just three occasions in 20 appearances.

According to Tuttosport, the Bianconeri are open to the prospect of re-signing the Spaniard, who had a fruitful spell at the Allianz Stadium between 2014 and 2016.

It is added that the Turin giants would be prepared to sign him permanently in 12 months' time, should he manage to make a strong impression in his second stint.

Morata has been playing second fiddle to Olivier Giroud since April and his situation appears unlikely to improve with the latter putting in a string of top notch performances.

The former Real Madrid graduate was surprisingly axed from the Spain squad for the previous set of friendlies and he now faces an anxious wait to be picked in Julen Lopetegui's World Cup.
