Steven Gerrard predicts Liverpool's chances of winning the Champions League

New Rangers manager Steven Gerrard believes his former side Liverpool have a 'really good chance' of beating Real Madrid in the Champions League final this month.
The Reds progressed to the final of the elite competition after beating AS Roma by a 7-6 aggregate scoreline but they face a sterner test of their credentials against the reigning champions.
Speaking to Sport360, Gerrard has backed the Reds to come up triumphs against Los Blancos with Mohamed Salah expected by many to play a key role in the Kyiv final.
He said: "I think we've got a really good chance. I think the form they've been in, how they've performed in the last two games against Roma, especially with Mohamed Salah. I think we go in with every confidence and belief that we can get the job done."
Prior to that, Liverpool have a crunch game against Brighton & Hove Albion in the final day of the Premier League season and they need to at least to pick up a draw in order to finish in the top four ahead of Chelsea.
The Reds are currently in a difficult position with injuries to a number of first-team regulars but Jurgen Klopp has highlighted that he would pick his strongest side possible for the curtain closer.
