Arsenal identify prime candidates to replace Wenger
Arsenal have reportedly narrowed down their shortlist of targets to replace Arsene Wenger as their next head coach in the summer.
The Frenchman is due to end his long-standing association with the club in the summer and this has associated numerous names with the managerial vacancy.
However, according to BBC Sport, the Gunners have already shortened their targets for the summer with Celtic's Brendan Rodgers and Thomas Tuchel not included on their list.
It is added that the club may have also ended their interest in Luis Enrique with the Spaniard's £25m-a-year salary demands having put them off from negotiating a contract.
As such, Carlo Ancelotti and Juventus' Massimiliano Allegri remain the front runners for the managerial post but the latter is said to be the club's preference at this point.
Allegri is said to be considering his future at Juventus beyond the current campaign and Arsenal are seeking to take advantage of his situation to lure him to the Emirates Stadium.
