Chelsea close in on Belletti
Chelsea are believed to be close to making a move for Barcelona's Brazilian right back Juliano Belletti. Chelsea have become frustrated with Sevilla in their failing efforts to bring Daniel Alves to the club and have turned their attention to Belletti.
Newcastle, Parma and Man City have all been looking at the player who scored the winning goal in the 2006 Champions League Final vs. Arsenal.
Jose Mourinho has been frustrated with options at right back, with Khalid Boulahrouz proving a flop and Michael Essien getting the nod ahead of both Glen Johnson and Paulo Ferreira at right back last week against Liverpool.
If Belletti does join Chelsea, the fee will be in the region of £4-£5m.
