West Ham to snub Manchester United interest in Arnautovic
West Ham United have reportedly decided to turn down bids from Manchester United for Austrian forward Marko Arnautovic.
The 29-year-old had a slow start to his debut season with the Hammers last term but he still ended the campaign with 11 goals and six assists as the club beat the drop.
Sky Sports News have since claimed that United are keen on pursuing the experienced forward with Jose Mourinho having previously worked with him at Inter Milan in 2009.
However, according to Evening Standard, the Hammers are hoping to improve on their previous campaign and are said to have no plans of offloading their leading forward.
New Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini has been handed with a £75m plus transfer kitty to spend on new recruits and the club are seeking to make the most of the transfer market to better their league expectations.
United boss Mourinho was recently spotted in the stands at the Tivoli-Neu Stadium watching Arnautovic and Austria secure a 1-0 win over World Cup hosts Russia.
