Davide Zappacosta reacts to Chelsea exit talk

Chelsea wing-back Davide Zappacosta has reportedly dismissed the ongoing speculation linking him with a potential exit from Stamford Bridge.

The 26-year-old joined the Blues from Torino last summer but was sparingly used through the season with just 12 starts in the Premier League.

As such, there has been the suggestion that he could return to the Serie A with Inter Milan but Zappacosta has now insisted that he is 'only thinking of Chelsea'.

"I just want to have a great season, regardless of where I play. Inter? The interest is pleasing but I don't know anything about it and I'm only thinking of Chelsea," he told Sky Sport Italia.

Zappacosta presently has three more years left on his Blues contract and his playing time next season is likely to be influenced by Antonio Conte's successor.

Maurizio Sarri is said to have already sorted out his backroom staff ahead of his potential move to Stamford Bridge and Chelsea may soon confirm the dismissal of Conte from the helm.
