Emre Can thanks Liverpool fans after Juventus move
German international Emre Can has officially sealed a move to Juventus and in a departing message for Liverpool's club fans, the talented midfielder praised his former club and their supporters and thanked them for their support. Can has signed a long-term contract in Turin and moved on a Bosman transfer.
Can played 167 times for Liverpool and had long been linked with a move to Italy, as far back as January.
The midfielder left the following message on his Instagram account:
“I want to say thank you to all the people of Liverpool , to my coaches, to the staff, to the staff behind the staff, the supporters, to everyone.
“I will always think back with a smile and one piece of my heart will always be in Liverpool.
“It was a big honour for me to play for Liverpool. I hope to see you one day again. Take care.”
Liverpool are rumoured to be weighing up a move to sign former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere as a replacement.
