Wilshere in Turkey to complete Fenerbahce move?
Jack Wilshere is in Istanbul to complete a move to Fenerbahce, the Daily Mirror reports.
Wilshere left the Arsenal after been told by new boss Unai Emery that he is not part of his first team plans.
He has been looking for a new club since. He has been linked with English clubs that include Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Everton.
According to the Daily Star, Turkish journalist Volkan Demir confirmed on Twitter that the move will be confirmed on Monday.
If the move is completed, Wilshere will have taken an unusual step for British players who rarely leave their homeland in their prime.
Being left out of the England World Cup squad is probably the biggest reason why he is leaving the Gunners to revive his career by getting more playing time.
Growing up as an Arsenal youth player Wilshere showed a lot of promise, and it was not expected that a time will come when he will be unable to get a place in the Gunners' first team.
