Liverpool goalkeeper keen to discuss future with Jurgen Klopp
Belgium goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has acknowledged that he will hold a meeting with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp shortly after his return from the World Cup.
Mignolet was largely the back-up keeper to Loris Karius during the backend of the previous campaign and his future continues to remain in the air with Klopp seemingly eyeing another shot-stopper.
In this regard, Mignolet remains uncertain where his future will lie next season and he has admitted that he will hold discussions with the Reds boss following the World Cup finals.
"I didn't play in the last few months at Liverpool, so after the World Cup I will look at everything. I can't say much more. I don't know how long I will have off after the tournament. I need to speak to the manager about that." he is quoted as saying by The Guardian.
Klopp has been desperate to add a top-class goalkeeper to his ranks this summer after the double blunder made by Karius in the Champions League final but so far, the club have yet to find a breakthrough with any of their targets.
AS Roma's Alisson Becker had been previously highlighted as the prime option to bolster their goalkeeping position before they were put off by the Giallorossi's £75m price tag.
