Chelsea reach agreement for Courtois replacement?
Chelsea are reported to have agreed on a £64.5m fee to sign Alisson Becker from AS Roma. The Brazil international has previously been on the radar of both Liverpool and Real Madrid.
According to Centro Suono Sport, the Blues have finalised an initial £57.5m package to sign the shot-stopper with the remaining £7m due to be paid in the form of add-ons.
It is added that the Brazilian has already personal terms over an annual wage package worth £4.86m and the move is likely to pave the way for Courtois to return to the Spanish capital.
Courtois has spoken publicly of his desire to return to Madrid at the latter phase of his playing career and the Blues' decision to sign Alisson may witness him pursue a switch to Real Madrid.
Both Alisson and Courtois are expected to be in action for Brazil and Belgium respectively in the second quarter-final of the World Cup on Friday night.
