Arsenal plan to complete deals for midfield duo
Arsenal are reportedly close to signing midfield duo Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi from Sampdoria and Lorient respectively this summer.
According to BBC Sport, both players have arrived in the English capital and they are due to undergo their respective medicals this afternoon.
The Gunners are understood to have agreed a fee of £25m for Torreira, who has been one of their prime targets and the Uruguayan is expected to become a key figure for Unai Emery's side next term.
On the other hand, Guendouzi is regarded as a player for the future and a fee of £7m plus add-ons has been finalised to recruit the 19-year-old midfielder.
Arsenal have already recruited Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulous this summer and it is suggested the signings of Torreira and Guendouzi may end their business for the summer.
Sevilla's Steven N'Zonzi has also been linked with the north London giants in recent weeks but the deal appears improbable, unless he is assured of regular gametime from the starting lineup.
