Chelsea board to decide on Willian's future
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich and director Marina Granovskaia are scheduled to hold a meeting with new manager Maurizio Sarri to discuss the future of Willian.
The Brazil international has been linked with both Barcelona and Manchester United this summer with the former recently said to have made a final take-or-leave offer of around £65m
As such, Abramovich, Granovskia and Sarri are set to meet this week to discuss the transfer proceedings with Willian expected to receive a notable mention.
Preferably, Chelsea are said to fancy offloading Willian abroad and the Brazilian may not play hard ball over their decision with Barcelona being his preferred choice as of now.
Willian has been restricted of gametime during the past two seasons under Antonio Conte and this has seemingly frustrated him despite the recent change of management.
He presently has two years left on his existing deal with the west London giants and talks over an extension appear far off amid the ongoing transfer saga.
