Manchester United interested in Barcelona defender
Manchester United have entered the race to sign Barcelona defender Yerry Mina, according to RMC Sport.
The Colombian international has been linked with a move to Everton while Wolves are also keen. Olympique Lyon have also made a £26.7m bid for the World Cup star.
Mina did very well at the World Cup in Russia, scoring three goals for Colombia, with one of those goals coming in the dying minutes of regulation time in their penalty shoot-out loss to England.
After his lack of regular appearances last season, it looks unlikely that Mina will make the starting line-up for Barcelona next season, making it easier for interested clubs to get him.
The 23-year-old has shown that he can perform at the highest level and could be what Manchester United need to solve their problems in central defence. His ability to score goals will also give United an advantage.
Manchester United have also been linked with moves for AC Milan's Leonardo Bonucci and Leicester City's Harry Maguire as they seek to bolster the central defensive department before the transfer deadline.
