Chelsea open talks for Borussia Dortmund teenager
Chelsea are reportedly looking into a deal for highly-rated winger Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund before next month's transfer deadline.
The Blues have been quiet in the transfer window with just one signing in the form of Jorginho but there is expected to be some activity in the coming days with Maurizio Sarri eyeing at least two more recruits.
According to The Mail, Blues owner Roman Abramovich has taken matters into his own hands and he is scheduled to meet with Dortmund officials in order to push through a move for Pulisic.
Nevertheless, the Blues can anticipate competition from Premier League rivals Liverpool with Jurgen Klopp said to be a huge admirer of the teenager whom he recruited for Dortmund in the first place.
Pulisic has been in sublime form for Dortmund since the start of pre-season and he recently scored a match-winning brace in a 3-1 comeback win over Liverpool in the United States.
