Alcacer wanted by Foxes

Leicester City are in the race to sign Paco Alcacer from Barcelona. The Spain international striker, 24 years of age, has been on the radar of the Foxes all summer and it is understood that Barcelona will accept a fee of around £35 million for Alcacer.

The talented striker, who began his career with Valencia where he spent 11 years before making a dream move to Barcelona, has appeared 13 times for Spain's full national team and has scored 6 goals. It is understood that Leicester City coach Claude Puel wants to add a forward to his squad in time for the new season who will add experience and the guarantee of goals at the highest level.

It is rumoured that Barcelona paid 30 million euros for Alcacer and that the striker has four years of his contract with the Nou Camp side remaining.

According to multiple reports Leicester City will need to pay the player around £200,000 per week to persuade Alcacer to move to England.
