Barcelona to demand Aaron Ramsey in exchange for Dembele

Spanish champions Barcelona could reportedly demand Aaron Ramsey as a makeweight, should Arsenal make an approach to sign Ousmane Dembele this summer.

Dembele had a tough debut season with the Blaugrana last term where injuries and a loss of form restricted him to just 12 La Liga starts and he is now said to be eyeing a fresh challenge elsewhere.

According to The Sun, the Catalan giants could be prepared to part ways with Dembele this summer with Arsenal among the prime contenders to acquire his signature.

Nevertheless, the deal is unlikely to be straightforward with Ernesto Valverde's side planning to demand Ramsey as part of a player-plus-cash deal for the France international.

Ramsey has just 12 months left on his existing contract with the Gunners and he could be sold in the coming weeks, should there be no breakthrough with regards to an extension.

On the other hand, Dembele is said to be disappointed with the club's recent signing of Malcom from Bordeaux and he is seemingly worried about the reduced gametime at the Camp Nou.
