Gonzalo Higuain to leave Juventus for AC Milan
Argentina international striker Gonzalo Higuain will swap Juventus for AC Milan in an initial loan deal but with the option for a permanent contract. It is understood that Milan will pay 20 million euros for the 2018-19 campaign and then have first-choice to sign Higuain on a permanent deal for 28 million euros.
The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at the "Old Lady" appears to have signalled the end to Higuain's topsy turvy Juventus career and now the striker will depart for a move to one of Italy's other top sides.
AC Milan technical director Leonardo has been locked in talks with Juventus for over a week and it appears that the Rossoneri have beaten two English sides in the completion of Higuain's transfer to the San Siro.
It is expected that a deal for Gonzalo Higuain to Milan will be completed before the end of the week, allowing the striker to head to pre-season training with his new club having had extended vacation after the World Cup.
