Chelsea boss wants urgent talks with Willian
Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has said that he would like to hold urgent talks with Willian after the Brazilian failed to report in time for pre-season duty.
Willian was expected to link up with his Blues teammates earlier in the week but so far, he has not travelled from Brazil with issues regarding his passport cited as the main reason.
Speaking after the friendly game against Arsenal, Sarri admitted that he is not happy with ongoing situation involving Willian and he would like to hold talks with the attacker first before answering questions regarding the same.
"I want to speak to him before I answer these questions. I am not happy about this situation but, before I answer, I would like to speak to him," he told reporters.
Willian has heavily been linked with the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United this summer with the latter said to hold an advantage in acquiring his services.
Despite this, there has not been any formal enquiry from United and the next few days could give a clear indication whether the Blues would fancy offloading him to a direct league rival.
Chelsea sanctioned the sale of midfielder Nemanja Matic to Manchester United last term which undoubtedly strengthened the Red Devils and the board are supposedly keen on avoiding a similar instance.
