Manchester United have reportedly agreed contractual terms with Barcelona defender Yerry Mina and they are now left to finalise a fee with the Spanish champions.

The Red Devils have been on the search for a new centre-back since the start of the transfer window and they now appear to have earmarked Mina as their prime option.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Colombian has agreed personal terms regarding a summer transfer but the move is now being held up owing to a disagreement over his valuation.

At present, United are willing to pay around £35m for the centre-back but the offer remains £5m less than Blaugrana's price tag for the former Palmeiras man.

Barcelona have recently reached an agreement to sign Arturo Vidal from Bayern Munich and his arrival is expected to enhance Mina's exit as they seek to forbid by the non-EU player rules.

The La Liga rules permit the registration of just three players without a European passport and Vidal is expected to take up one of those positions alongside summer signings Malcom and Arthur.
