Busy Fulham complete flurry of transfers on deadline day

Fulham busy on deadline day

Ambitious Fulham have completed a handful of transfers on transfer deadline day, indicating that the club are investing heavily to ensure their survival in the Premier League this season. The Cottagers have spent a reported £120 million this summer to ensure the club's status in the top flight.

As well as the arrival of Andre Schurrle, Alfie Mawson, Jean Seri, Aleksander Mitrovic and Calum Chambers, the Cottagers have today signed five new players.

Joe Bryan joins, a left back comes to the club in a reported $8 million fee from Bristol City.  Sergio Rico has been signed on loan from Sevilla, Andre Zambo Anguissa also joins, a holding midfielder from Marseille set to arrive for club-record £25 million; Luciano Vietto too, the talented Argentine striker is to join on loan from Atletico Madrid. Finally a deal has been reached for defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah, who comes to the club on a season-long loan deal from Manchester United, just prior to the transfer window slamming shut.
