Arsenal striker attracting Galatasaray interest
Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck has reportedly been identified as a transfer target for Galatasaray before the close of the Turkish transfer window.
The England international had another difficult season with the Gunners last term with just 12 league starts and this has recently linked with a potential exit.
According to Turkish outlet AMK, Galatasaray are looking into a deal for the former Manchester United man with manager Unai Emery urged to trim the Gunners' wage bill before the end of the ongoing month.
Nonetheless, Welbeck is not keen on parting ways with the north London giants and he is prepared to snub interest from the Turkish outfit despite the lure of Champions League football.
Welbeck was among the substitutes for Arsenal during their recent 3-2 defeat to Chelsea but he could not make an impression with Alexandre Lacazette and Aaron Ramsey preferred ahead of him from the bench.
