Mourinho would have left any other club by now
Based on Manchester United's transfer activity this summer, Jose Mourinho would have left if it happened at any other side where he would have been in charge, Mirror Football reports.
Mourinho is angry with United's lack of adequate summer signings and has reportedly told friends that “any other job at any other club and I would have quit”.
The former Chelsea boss is angry because he could not land any of the central defenders he targeted.
Mourinho wanted Leicester City's Harry Maguire or Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld, but neither of the players were signed before the close of the window. United could only sign midfielder Fred, defender Diogo Dalot and goalkeeper Lee Grant.
Before joining United, Mourinho was known to spend a lot of money at other teams where he won major honours, and the Portuguese expected the same at Old Trafford.
Under Mourinho, Manchester United have spent £302m on new signings, way more than Sir Alex Ferguson spent in his final three years at Old Trafford, and the legendary Scotsman won two Premier League titles, and reached a Champions League final in that time.
