Unai Emery reacts to Arsenal's first Premier League win
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has expressed delight after the Gunners defeated West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.
Emery's men came from a goal down to defeat their fellow London side by three goals to one to register their first league win of the season.
Speaking in the game's post-match press conference, Emery said: "We are happy with the first three points. We needed a win today and we needed to show our supporters. The three points were the first objective."
The former Paris Saint-Germain boss went ahead to speak of the need to improve and avoid conceding too many chances.
After losing two games in a row, Emery has given the Arsenal fans the win they need to calm their nerves ahead of the coming games.
This win will give them the platform to build on as they bid to return to the Premier League top four.
For their next game, the Gunners will go to Wales to face Cardiff City before the international break.
