Wolverhampton Wanderers make Ruben Neves transfer decision
Wolverhampton Wanderers will reportedly refuse to sanction the sale of Ruben Neves in the January transfer window despite the interest from Manchester United.
A recent report suggested that United could lodge a winter approach for the Portugal international as they seek to beat Manchester City to his signature.
However, according to the Birmingham Mail, Wolves are said to have no plans of sanctioning a mid-season sale and they are likely to decline advances for their leading midfielder.
Neves has been a revelation for the Wolves since joining them from Porto in the summer of 2017 and he has already laid a mark in the current campaign with a goal and an assist from his opening four matches.
At present, the Portuguese is comfortably placed with the Wolves having only signed a five-year deal earlier in the summer but his stance could change depending on how the club fare through the top-flight campaign.
