Spurs midfielder to miss England game against Switzerland through injury
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli has pulled out of the England squad to face Switzerland in an international friendly on Tuesday through injury.
According to Sky Sports, he suffered a minor muscle strain in the Three Lions' 2-1 loss to Spain over the weekend.
He has returned to Tottenham where treatment will be carried out to ensure he is fit for the Premier League clash against Liverpool this weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping he is fit because he has been an important member of his side who have started the season with three wins out of a possible four.
Alli has played in all of Spurs' opening league games this season, scoring once.
Tottenham are on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Watford and will be hoping to get a win against a Liverpool side that have won all their opening fixtures.
It is expected that it will be a tough test for Liverpool, even if Dele Alli does not be a part of the encounter.
