Pep's camp make contact with PSG midfielder

Pep Guardiola's camp have met with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot to discuss a possible move to Manchester City next summer, according to Sport.

The meeting, which took place last week, was meant to measure the interest of Rabiot in playing for City next season.

The player's current deal with the Ligue 1 champions expires at the end of the season, but he has not shown any interest in extending his stay in Paris.

The Frenchman will be able to agree a deal to join another club from the first of January, 2019.

Liverpool were linked with Rabiot, but recent reports have indicated that the Reds are not interested in the midfielder.

In the past, the player has made it known that he would love to play in the English Premier League in future, with Liverpool being the side he was fond of when he was younger.

After losing out on Jorginho, the Citizens will probably be eager to get a top midfielder like Rabiot next summer.
